5.) Name a high school memory that still makes you smile/laughMeeting Renee Cousineau in the office in 9th grade. We were both pretending we were sick to get out of class.Miss Slaughter calling her students “gonads” in biology class. The sentence Mr. Eubanks made you write 10 times when you talked in his speech class: “Excessive verbosity, when specifically prohibited, is an incorrigible trait, which I shall endeavor to eradicate.”

6.) Who are you looking forward to seeing at the reunion?I think I’ll know when I get there…if I make it! My husband and I are expecting our first child right around this time.

1.) Who do you wish you kept in touch with from high school? So many people; it’s amazing how everyone’s lives go in so many different directions, and you lose touch. Matt Darling has been a friend since the 3rd grade, but I have not seen him since our last reunion! Dana Levy, who was my best “girl” friend in High School, will be great to see as well as all the Berkshire and West Maple guys and girls.

2.) What is something you wish you did after high school or college that you never had the chance to do? Had a chance to go on Survivor, to see if I could handle that for even one day!

3.) What is something you're happy you had the chance to do? Go skydiving with my wife Corina, and her Mom in San Diego over July 4th, to celebrate her Mom’s 70th birthday.

4.) Where is your favorite place you've been to in the last 20 years? Aruba for my Honeymoon, with St. Thomas as a close second.

5.) Name a high school memory that still makes you smile/laugh. I remember sleeping out for Van Halen tickets on a very cold Tuesday night in February 2004 with Steve Gougeon, Josh Gluskin, Scott Hardin, and Rob Peterson. Gougeon almost getting run over by a city of Birmingham snow blower that morning! Didn’t quite make it to school that day, went to Denny’s instead. Great concert!

6.) Who are you looking forward to seeing at the reunion? Everyone

7.) Is there anything your spouse/significant other would be surprised to know about you from your high school days? She has seen the pictures of the 1987 mullet, with the neon pink Andre Agassi tennis shirt, and dangly earring, so I don’t think much would surprise her after that fashion debacle!

1.) Who do you wish you kept in touch with from high school?

I feel connected to our class, and even though I have only kept in touch with a couple of people, I still remember and think about everyone!!

2.) What is something you wish you did after high school or college that you never had the chance to do?

I wish that I had been able to have the "dorm life" experience. I wasn't "allowed" to go away to school because I had an unhealthy relationship with the only guy I ever dated in high school, and he was very possessive of me. I went to the University of Michigan in Dearborn--I loved my education there, but I think a huge part of me never got to grow up because I was only with one person since I was 14 years old! I would do it all over again the same way, however, because we have a son, Chad, who is 13 and I can't imagine life without him! I divorced Chad's dad when Chad was 3 and now I'm in a healthy marriage, and we have a daughter, Sammi, who is 6.

I also still haven't had the chance to publish some of my writing or pursue doing something with the musical comedy I wrote. Maybe I will get brave someday. But I am happy creating!

3.) What is something you're happy you had the chance to do?

I am so happy that I was able to have two children, start my own piano-teaching business, meet my husband, swim with dolphins, read tons of books, listen to Tori Amos, and I'm loving living in Florida and enjoying my family!

4.) Where is your favorite place you've been to in the last 20 years?

I love Walt Disney World!

5.) Name a high school memory that still makes you smile/laugh

OK--I have so many--here are a few highlights--I remember when the health teacher--what was her name? Miss Henry? She gave us an assignment to carry around a bag of flour or an egg to simulate taking care of a child. I chose the bag of flour. I had the flour with me in a class, and I had to use the bathroom. So I asked someone if he could please watch my baby flour. I went to the bathroom, and when I came back to class, my baby was missing!!! There was a ransom note on my desk that read: Give us 5.00 or we will turn your flour into cookies!!! I freaked out! I finally got my baby back--it was in someone's duffle bag!! I should have issued an Amber alert! I remember after that assignment, someone drop-kicked his flour baby in the parking lot!

The next few memories are actually from middle school--I feel so guilty thinking these were funny--but these are the stories I tell my kids about! There was this one teacher in Berkshire middle school--she taught English, and her name was Miss Haggerty (Or I think I'm supposed to say, DR. Haggerty). Oh, the poor woman. Someone would pass a note in class giving us directions to drive her batty--One time the note said: At 10:05, everyone drop your books on the floor. So, at 10:05, one person would drop his book, then another, then another--BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!! From all sides of the room! DR. Haggerty was looking around all over trying to take down students' names...BOOM! BOOM!

Another note went around that said: At 10:05, everyone turn your desk around to the back of the room... another read: At 10:05 everyone stare at DR. Haggerty. That was the funniest--She would say, "Ok, now if you'll look here on the board..." And we would be staring at her like wide-eyed zombies......I'm laughing as I'm writing this---but I feel so bad! Ok--just a couple more.....There was this boy named Richie Bush (Whatever happened to him? If anybody talks to him, please kindly tell him that I am really thankful that I was flat-chested--I see my friends with big boobs and they all want breast reductions now!). Well, DR. Haggery told the class, "Get out your grammar books..." And, Richie said, "My gramma's in Florida." Classic!

Oh--that reminds me--the health teacher in middle school once said, "We are going to learn about semen..." and this one guy named Scott said, "My father was a sea man." I forgot about that guy Scott. He was so funny--I remember once he slid around the back of the room like a snake so he could get to the pencil sharpener on the other side of the room. I'm giggling!

I also remember our 9th grade trip to Canada. I remember we all could see each other out of our windows in our hotel rooms! I remember singing GREASE 2 songs on the bus ride there!

Just a couple more--they are flooding back to me now! Do you remember Mrs. Grier? "TE PUEDO AYUDAR?" Oh, and that Spanish teacher after her--the man--he was so evil! I was truly frightened by him....

I remember once I tried to get everyone to sign a petition so that the lunch ladies couldn't clean up the areas around people who were still eating. I was such a slow eater in the cafeteria, and the lunch lady would come by me and spray this disgusting spray cleaner with her moldy rag right by me and clean the spot right next to me! I still am always the last one eating!!! I should have tried that liquid lunch everyone is talking about.

OK--this is the last memory--I promise! I remember I LOVED being in all of the school plays and talent shows. It was senior year, and we were auditioning for ONCE UPON A MATTRESS. When the call back sheet came out, I was screaming because my name was on it as THE SCULLERY MAID. I was SO excited to actually have a part!!!!! So the first rehearsal was set, and I brought my highlighter so that I could highlight all of my lines and try to figure out the scullery maid's character. What kind of person was she? Was she happy? Would I have to go deep inside myself to try to portray her? We got the script, and I saw my part. I HAD NO LINES!!! There was only one part where the scullery maid walks in and hands a dress to Lady Larkin (the lead). That was my big debut!!! And those were some of my funniest memories in school!

6.) Who are you looking forward to seeing at the reunion?

I am honestly looking forward to seeing everyone from our class, and I'll be sad not to see the people who can't be there. I truly feel that I liked everyone and that we will always be bonded! But I must say, that my Greenfield Elementary school friends have a special place in my heart, and I am SOSOSOSOSOOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSO excited to reunite with them. And everybody! I feel that we had an exceptionally bright class with exceptionally talented people! I'm proud to be part of the class of 87!!!

7.) Is there anything your spouse/significant other would be surprised to know about you from your high school days?

I don't think so. I think I'm pretty much the same person with the same kind of values that I had back then. I am so excited to see all of you!!!! Take care! Love, Lori

2.) What is something you wish you did after high school or college that you never had the chance to do? Go to Moldova and see the village where my late father was born, see Ireland where my Mother's people are from and go to Venice and Florence to see what Mr. Guilmet was all up in arms about.

3.) What is something you're happy you had the chance to do? Start my writing career at SPIN, work for Jerry Della Femina, Jerry Weinstein and Alan Stillman, meet Allen Ginsburg, Gregory Corso, Herb Hunke, Hunter S. Thompson, Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, Richard Thompson and Al Aronowitz in New York before it became another Strip Mall, interview Ernie Harwell on his last trip to Yankee Stadium (If only it were Tiger Stadium, sigh.).

4.) Where is your favorite place you've been to in the last 20 years? Coney Island. It's like walking into a Tom Waits song.

5.) Name a high school memory that still makes you smile/laugh - The Army of a Non-Denominational Supreme Being. Although this idea to grab Newton the bear from Mr. Klein never came off, today we would have ended up in jail for just thinking about it.

7.) Is there anything your spouse/significant other would be surprised to know about you from your high school days? After I explain #5 to my current girlfriend, The Magic Bullet Theory (a book I am about to go into contract on) will make absolute sense.

1.) Who do you wish you kept in touch with from high school?
I've actually stayed in touch with several people, mostly the guys I was in a band with and a few others, plus some people who went to other high schools. So I can't think of anyone off hand, but I would imagine it would be fun to find out what everyone wound up doing. I suppose this site gives us a chance to do it, too.

2.) What is something you wish you did after high school or college that you never had the chance to do?
Headline Castle Donnington in England. Or Madison Square Garden in New York. Just kidding. Sort of. No regrets, though. I'm enjoying life.

3.) What is something you're happy you had the chance to do?
Interview many bands that DID headline Castle Donnington, MSG, or other concert venues around the world. I've worked as a journalist both in print and TV (and still do), and it's been a fun and fascinating ride. I've met and interviewed many musicians who had a huge influence on me, met a lot of interesting people, and the world of broadcasting ... you just never know what's coming next. Every day is different.

4.) Where is your favorite place you've been to in the last 20 years?
I haven't been abroad, but I've always felt that if you're taking a vacation close to home, in this case Michigan, if you go up to Mackinac Island, taking two, three, four days -- whatever -- will feel like two, three, four weeks. I'd like to travel abroad, so tack that one back up to No. 2, I suppose.
5.) Name a high school memory that still makes you smile/laugh
Too many.

6.) Who are you looking forward to seeing at the reunion?
Won't be able to make it.

7.) Is there anything your spouse/significant other would be surprised to know about you from your high school days?

1.) Who do you wish you kept in touch with from high school?
Too many to list. I moved to California 2 months after high school graduation. Unfortunately, I lost touch with everyone but Jeff Stroud and Amy Hockenberger. It's been great fun this past year reconnecting with some old friends via email. I can't wait to see everyone at the reunion!

2.) What is something you wish you did after high school or college that you never had the chance to do?
I went to college at University of California at Santa Barbara and lived a block from the beach. Unfortunately, I graduated in four years. Wish I had stayed for a Masters Degree or at least taken 6 years getting my BA. Now I realize that those 6th year seniors were smarter than the rest of us who were anxious to get out into the 'real world'. What was the rush anyhow?

3.) What is something you're happy you had the chance to do?
I love this questions because it's made me think back over the past 20 years. Here are a few of my favorite memories:
- Sitting courtside at an LA Lakers game. Those NBA players are stinky, sweaty and have very colorful vocabularies.
- Limo Bus trip to Napa on my 35th birthday. Spending the day with 15 friends, touring wineries, drinking great wines, eating amazing food and dancing all the way home. It was such fun that we did it again for my 36th and 37th birthdays.
-Yachting in San Diego. To this day my kids think all boats have 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and party deck. It was a very cool experience.
-Sunrise hot air balloon ride over the wine country. I'm not a morning person so the memory is blurry but it was a unique way to wake up.
- 3 Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Bourbon Street during carnival is pure insanity.
- Las Vegas with Amy Hockenberger. We met there for a weekend this past January. It was the first time we've ever legally had cocktails together. Plus the 'Porn Awards' were in town so the people watching was hilarious.

4.) Where is your favorite place you've been to in the last 20 years?
Coastal California: Santa Barbara, San Diego and Carmel for relaxing. New Orleans and San Francisco for the nightlife.

5.) Name a high school memory that still makes you smile/laugh
The Beastie Boys concert at the Fox Theater in '87 with Amy H., Jeff Stroud and Jeff Wade.
The summer of '87 with Amy H., Greg Sangregorio, Tony Poretta, Matt Husband and other assorted alumni. I won't embarrass anyone with the details.
Mock Rock. Remember that?
6.) Who are you looking forward to seeing at the reunion?
Mostly the people from Greenfield Elementary but anyone with whom I share memories.
7.) Is there anything your spouse/significant other would be surprised to know about you from your high school days?
He doesn't want or need to know anymore than he already does.

Josh Gluskin

1.) Who do you wish you kept in touch with from high school? Too many, especially all my theater friends, since I'm horrible at keeping in touch.Picking just one, I'll say Jenny Thompson - after all, she's been onBROADWAY and TONY nominated! ;-)

3.) What is something you're happy you had the chance to do? I traveled toEgypt and got to meet Sphinxy.

4.) Where is your favorite place you've been to in the last 20 years? I'vebeen to Ireland, Scotland and Italy and want to get back to all 3.

5.) Name a high school memory that still makes you smile/laugh. Before myfirst appearance on the Little Theater stage as an Octopus Freshman year in"The Man Who Came to Dinner", Katy Wood (Class of '86) wanted to wish megood luck by breaking a tentacle. She told me to "break a testicle".

6.) Who are you looking forward to seeing at the reunion? I'm sorry I won'tbe there, but I'd love to see ALL of you!

7.) Is there anything your spouse/significant other would be surprised toknow about you from your high school days?Well, I'm currently single, but I think with my close friends, anyway, I'm still pretty much the same with my goofy sense of humor, still beinginvolved with community (and the rare professional opportunity) theater, etc. I'd say I definitely have better hair now - we did graduate in '87,after all! ;-)

Last summer our family went with friends way up into Canada (near James Bay) on a fly in fishing trip-we had a blast-6 children ranging in age from 3 to 8 years old and we didn't have to do any cooking and all of the kids behaved!

5.) Name a high school memory that still makes you smile/laugh It makes me smile when I think of that variety show thing our Junior year. Jeff Pintar was Morris Day, I believe they won and used the money to buy beer. We went to Julie Forhan's house for a gathering which did come to an abrubt end when her parents arrived home, then off to Burger King we went.

6.) Who are you looking forward to seeing at the reunion? I am looking forward to seeing Julie and Michelle since they are the reason that I am going. I was totally against going and had thrown the information out. It will be fun to see everybody and see how we have all changed.

7.) Is there anything your spouse/significant other would be surprised to know about you from your high school days? I'd like to say he would be surprised to know that I was a shy sorta geeky girl, but I think he may have figured that one out already!

My Grandparents were out of town so the "nerds" had a soiree at my house. Saliha, Crissy and Ronna came over. Crissy threw-up, I got a temperature and needless to say the party was over.

6.) Who are you looking forward to seeing at the reunion?
everyone

7.) Is there anything your spouse/significant other would be surprised to know about you from your high school days? Nope...still just as bossy as I was back in the days.
